 Since childhood I've been intrigued by words, and as I got older, by their ability to captivate, to motivate, to provoke thought, to educate, to create conversation. To incite change. I am a graduate of the Humber School for Writers, where I was mentored under award-winning author Lauren B. Davis, and a Cambrian College journalism graduate. With over 150 published articles to date, I have over eight years of experience working in a variety of media, and in the areas of communications, journalism and fundraising for non-profit organizations and on a freelance basis. My articles and essays have been published in Salon,The Globe & Mail, The Country Connection magazine, The Sault Star, Northern Business Journal, Ottawa Construction Report and Algoma U Today, as well as various communication material for clients. |
